Joe is a songwriter/singer from Rural West Tennessee. In his hometown of Halls, he is a local entrepreneur and community volunteer using his music as a release to entertain, organize events and raise money for various causes.
Like most who make music their passion, his love for a good two stepping song developed at an early age when his dad taught him and his brother to play bass and drums for family gatherings and guitar pulls.
His continuation of this passion has been to satisfy his desire to write the perfect song and also(maybe secretly) please his dad by, far his greatest influence.
Joe has 3 albums to his credit with a fourth on the way.
Charity has been a big part of his efforts, musically. raising money for St Jude and for The Veterans’ Museum of Halls, TN.
His musical tastes vary from Nanci Griffith to Ludacris to Bill Monroe to Kenny Wayne Sheppard back to Garth Brooks.
From acoustic shows to full band shows, you will hear a variety of influences but always with a twang.
He is the father of 3 boys and husband to the love of his life, Elizabeth.
Whether he is background noise or out front showman, he remains a slave to the music and desires only to connect through music with those that he is attendance.
Joe has spent the last 12 months recording this project. He and his producer, Doug Deforest, had decided early on that this collection of songs deserved time and special attention. The time has come to allow this eclectic mix of songs to be set free.
